It all started with a good book.

My interest in nutrition began after reading a book by a clinical nutritionist. It showed me that small changes can make a huge impact … and the rest is history. Seven years, a full-time job, two kids, and a whole lot of study later, I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine, my second undergraduate degree.

My love of nutrition is balanced with a strong sense of caution around ‘wellness’ industries. Without the science-based evidence and research, your health is at risk. That’s why all of the advice here is backed by peer-reviewed knowledge.

Reading books, walking my dogs, making snacks for my kids, and making MORE snacks for my kids.

Small talk, social media, coriander, going slow - I like things now!

I'm NOT ABOUT:

Honesty, strong coffee, short emails, routines, and Nutrition advice that's backed by scientific evidence only.

I BELIEVE IN:

We make small incremental changes together to get to your desired goals. A clinical Nutritionist assists with disease prevention and management using only scientific evidence. Nutrient adequacy, food quality, dietary behaviours, and lifestyle all come into focus.

It’s not my job to stick you on an
everything-free diet and send you on your way. Instead, I help adapt your current diet in order to meet your health goals.

With over ten years as a marketing specialist in Perth, I've adopted a strong amount of pragmatism. My approach as a Nutritionist is very simple, structured, and considered. Every choice I make, whether it's dietary advice, a functional test, or a prescribed supplement, is based on my clinical experience and the best available research. With the right knowledge, I then develop an individual treatment plan that you can live by, knowing that you’re making significant change to your health.

As a society, we now know that what we eat affects our health. So why can’t we make these changes? I believe the current set-up lacks support for those people trying to change their diet. That’s where a clinical Nutritionist comes in.
