hello,

Are Your Snacks Making You Hungier?

In recent conversations with clients at my clinic, a recurring theme emerged – the importance of nutrition for health. Many discussions centred around simple yet powerful principles that can lead to significant improvements in overall well-being. If you’re looking for a sustainable approach to nutrition that promotes both physical and mental health, keep reading. And if you’re interested in a 12-week group coaching program for weight loss without deprivation, I have something special in store for you.

Eat More Veggies

It’s no secret that vegetables are nutritional powerhouses. However, many of us fall short when it comes to incorporating them into our daily meals. Aim to include 1.5 cups of cooked veggies or 2-3 cups of raw veggies in your lunch and dinner. And why not go the extra mile and add some veggies to your breakfast? This simple adjustment can provide a wealth of vitamins, minerals, and fibre while keeping you satiated and nourished throughout the day.

Embrace Diversity

While sticking to familiar food choices may be convenient, there are immense benefits to be gained from diversifying our diets. Challenge yourself to include at least 30 different plant-based foods in your weekly meal plans. This includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and grains. By broadening your culinary horizons, you’ll introduce a wider range of nutrients, antioxidants, and phytochemicals into your system, supporting your overall health and weight loss journey.

Avoid Deprivation

Contrary to popular belief, a healthy eating plan doesn’t have to be synonymous with deprivation. It’s all about finding a balance that works for you. Rather than completely eliminating your favourite indulgences, such as coffee, sweet treats, or alcohol, practice moderation. Enjoy your morning coffee before noon, savour sweet treats for no more than 20% of your overall food intake, and be mindful of alcohol consumption. This approach allows for flexibility and reduces the mental strain associated with strict deprivation, making your health journey more enjoyable and sustainable.

Introducing My 12-Week Group Coaching Program

If the idea of a weight loss journey without deprivation resonates with you, I have an exciting opportunity to share. My 12-week group coaching program is designed to provide you with the support, guidance, and tools needed to achieve your weight loss goals while embracing a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
